3 best IPL playoff innings: The playoff matches for the 17th season of IPL (IPL 2024) will start from today. Kolkata Knight Riders will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first qualifier, while Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face each other in the eliminator. Many records have been made by the batsmen in the IPL league stage, and this will be seen in the future playoff matches that have already been played in the IPL history. Chennai Super Kings scored 100 runs in six overs of powerplay, in which Suresh Raina had an important contribution. He played a stormy inning of 87 runs in 25 balls, hitting 12 fours and six sixes. However, after his dismissal, none of the Chennai batsmen could play a big innings and the team lost by 24 runs.

AB de Villiers Vs Gujarat Lions (IPL 2016, Qualifier 1)

RCB had their greatest IPL season ever in 2016. Bengaluru made it to the finals that season. However, the team failed to win the championship in the final stage. However, in the Qualifier 1 match, AB de Villiers played an innings which surprised everyone.

While chasing the target of 159 runs of Gujarat Lions, RCB team lost the first five wickets for 29 runs, but after this De Villiers made important partnerships of 39 runs with Stuart Binny and 81 runs with Iqbal Abdullah. It was a match-winning combination. AB de Villiers stayed till the end and took RCB to the final by winning the match in the first ten balls. AB played an excellent innings and scored 79 runs in 47 balls, which included 5 fours and 5 sixes.

Rajat Patidar Vs Lucknow Super Giants (IPL 2022, Eliminator)

In the IPL 2022 Eliminator match, RCB rookie batsman Rajat Patidar scored a brilliant century to take his club into Qualifier 2. Rajat scored 112 runs in 54 balls, which included 12 fours and 7 sixes. Patidar also made a stormy partnership of 92 runs with Dinesh Karthik in the last 41 balls.
