Indian bowling coach praised KL Rahul

He formed a brilliant partnership with Virat Kohli and led the team to victory by playing an unbeaten inning of 97 runs. India’s bowling coach Paras Mhambrey talked about KL Rahul’s innings.

He said, “We always knew how much strength KL Rahul gives to the team. He is a brilliant batsman, especially in the middle overs. We needed such a person, and he is the kind of player who plays spin well, knows how to play seamers as well as fast bowlers. So he brings stability and confidence to our team, and the way he has played cricket before, we believe in him, and it is great to have him back in the team.

India’s first match in the ICC World Cup was against Australia. In that match, India bowled out Australia for just 199 runs, but Australia also dismissed three of India’s batsmen, Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, for just 2 runs. Team India was under a lot of pressure at that time, but KL Rahul made a brilliant partnership with Virat Kohli for the fourth wicket and not only got the team out of trouble but also achieved a great victory and became the player of the match.
