CWC 2023: Rohit Sharma can wreak havoc with the ball against Bangladesh, tremendous preparation in the nets

The performance of the Indian cricket team in the 2023 World Cup has been excellent. The team has won all three matches of the tournament. Now in its next campaign, Team India will play the fourth match against Bangladesh (IND vs BAN) which is to be played on 19th October in Pune. Both the teams have reached the spot. Indian players had their first practice session on Tuesday, in which Rohit Sharma showcased his bowling skills.

BCCI shared a video of Team India’s practice session on its Instagram account on Wednesday, October 18. In the video, Indian captain Rohit Sharma can be seen bowling against Ravindra Jadeja in the nets. While sharing this video, BCCI wrote,

Say hello to Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma has performed brilliantly in this tournament. After being dismissed cheaply against Australia, he played a blistering innings against Afghanistan and scored the highest century and fastest century for India in World Cup history. After this he scored a brilliant half-century against Pakistan in the next match. Fans will expect a good innings from him against Bangladesh also.

It is noteworthy that the pitch of Pune is suitable for batting and a lot of runs are expected to be scored here. Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli are all in good form.

So far, four matches have been played between India and Bangladesh in the history of ODI World Cup. India has won 3 matches and lost one match. In such a situation, Rohit Sharma and company will not make the mistake of taking Bangladesh lightly.
