ICC ODI Rankings: In the recently released ICC Player Rankings for batsmen, India’s young opener Shubman Gill has overtaken Babar Azam from the number one spot, while fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has taken the top spot among bowlers. There is one player in the top-10 of the batsmen’s rankings who has not played a single ODI match this year.

Ireland’s Harry Tector has not played a single ODI this year, but is still ranked 8th in the ICC batsmen’s rankings. Harry was number five for a long time. The Irish team could not qualify for the 2023 World Cup, due to which they did not play any matches. But before this, Harry played a brilliant innings for his team due to which he remained in the top-10 in the batsmen’s rankings for a long time.

Harry Tector has played 50 ODI matches for Ireland so far. In which he has scored 1552 runs at a strike rate of more than 84. He has scored 4 centuries and 11 half-centuries. Apart from this, his performance in Test and T20 is not that special. He played 4 Tests and 64 T20 matches for Ireland.

On Wednesday, ICC released the latest rankings of its batsmen and bowlers. The top six batsmen are Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. In the ranking of bowlers, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj are in the top-10.
