Former Pakistan captain lashes out at PCB chief

ODI World Cup 2023: While the Pakistan cricket team is going through a tough phase in the World Cup 2023, on the other hand, nothing is going well in the management of the team. Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Zaka Ashraf had leaked Babar Azam’s WhatsApp chat. Now former team captain Shahid Afridi has strongly attacked Zaka Ashraf and has also instructed him to keep working.

Afridi’s attack on Zaka Ashraf came after Pakistan defeated Bangladesh in their last match of the World Cup 2023. When asked about the differences between Zaka Ashraf and Babar Azam, Afridi said, “Zaka Ashraf is the president of Pakistan Cricket Board and not of any club. Surprisingly they are calling media houses and saying that they are talking about me. You should work for the betterment of Pakistan cricket team, for God’s sake you should understand that you are the chairman of PCB. You have to do your work.

Pakistan team is trying to reach the semi-finals.

After losing four consecutive matches, Pakistan recorded their third win of the tournament against Bangladesh.
