World Cup 2023: Pakistan cricket team reached India on Wednesday, September 27 with tight security. Pakistani players were given a grand welcome on Indian soil. All Pakistani players are excited with the grand welcome in India and are expressing their happiness on social media.

This is Pakistan’s first tour of India since 2016, and when they arrived at the Hyderabad airport on Wednesday, the fans present there cheered all the way and chanted the names of team captain Babar Azam and other players.

Pakistan cricket team was given a grand welcome upon reaching India. Team captain Babar and bowler Shahin Afridi thanked India in an Instagram story. Babar Azam wrote in an Instagram story that he is “overwhelmed” by the love and support in India, while left-arm fast bowler Shaheen also expressed his happiness for the grand welcome.

Mohammad Rizwan wrote on Instagram, “A wonderful welcome from the people here (India). Everything was very easy. I am looking forward to the next 1.5 months.”

Pakistan vs Netherlands ODI World Cup 2023 is going to start from 5th October and Pakistan will play their first match on 6th October. India will face Pakistan in its first group match. A total of 10 teams are participating in the World Cup and all will play 48 matches in 46 days in different cities across India. The World Cup will conclude on 19 November.

Pakistan has two practice matches scheduled – one against New Zealand on September 29 and the other against Australia on October 3, both to be held in Hyderabad.
