Hardik Pandya’s first reaction

There is bad news for Team India. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is out of the World Cup. He was injured during the match against Bangladesh. He was later transferred to NCA. The ICC said in a statement that Hardik Pandya will not be able to play the remaining matches of the World Cup. Hardik has said after the World Cup that he will cheer for India on every ball in every match.

Pandya wrote on his official Instagram account, “I can’t believe that I won’t be able to play the remaining matches of the World Cup. I will be enthusiastically with the team and will cheer for Team India on every ball of every match. Thank you for all your love, support and good wishes. This team is special and I am sure we will make everyone proud.

After Hardik Pandya’s exclusion, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has got a place in the Indian team for the 2023 World Cup. Krishna made his ODI debut on 23 March 2021 against England in Pune. He took 3 wickets for 54 runs in 8.1 overs. India won this match by 66 runs. Prasidh Krishna has played 17 ODIs so far and has taken 29 wickets at an average of 26. It is difficult to bring him into the playing eleven.
