I like Brian Lara and Kumar Sangakkara very much but Sachin Tendulkar… New Zealand batsman gave a big statement

New Zealand’s young opener Rachin Ravindra has given a big reaction after scoring a brilliant century against England in the first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. He told me what kind of cricketers he likes. According to Rachin Ravindra, he likes Brian Lara and Kumar Sangakkara a lot because both of them are left-handed batsmen. His idol is Sachin Tendulkar.

In the first match of the World Cup 2023, England scored 282/9 runs in the stipulated 50 overs, in response to which New Zealand achieved the target by losing just one wicket in the 37th over. Ravindra scored unbeaten 123 runs in 96 balls with the help of 11 fours and 5 sixes.

Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid. His parents were very impressed by these two Indian legends and hence they named their son Rachin Ravindra after Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid and now he is also batting in the same manner.

There is a feeling of family in India: Rachin Ravindra

During the post-match press conference, Rachin Ravindra revealed the names of his favorite cricketers. They said,

Being a left-handed batsman, there are some players that I like. I like Brian Lara and Kumar Sangakkara. Both of them were great left-handed batsmen but Sachin Tendulkar was definitely my idol. Scoring a century is very special but coming to India and performing is great. It is a family atmosphere. Whenever I am in Bengaluru, it feels great to see my grandparents.
