ODI World Cup 2023: Indian team’s winning campaign in the World Cup continues. The 17th match of the tournament was played between India and Bangladesh on 19 October in Pune. India won this match by seven wickets. This is India’s fourth consecutive win in the tournament. Bangladesh won the toss and batted first and scored 256 runs for eight wickets. India achieved the target easily after losing three consecutive wickets. The Indian team is currently at second position in the points table.

Kohli, Gill and Rohit.

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have been the cornerstone of the Indian ODI team. Kohli scored a century for the team. Gill scored a half-century. Rohit Sharma was out after scoring two runs.

Virat Kohli was playing after scoring 97 runs. He scored 103 runs at a strike rate of 106.18. He hit six fours and four sixes in his innings. Apart from Kohli, Gill scored 53 runs in 55 balls. Sharma scored 48 runs in 40 balls.

Mehdi Hasan Miraj took two wickets.
Mehdi Hasan Miraz was the most successful bowler for the opposition against India. He took two wickets in his quota of 10 overs. Hasan Mahmood also took one wicket.

Bangladesh team was out for 256 runs.
Earlier, after winning the toss and batting first, Bangladesh scored 256 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated overs. Opening the innings, Liton Das scored 66 runs in 82 balls. Apart from him, Tanjeed Hasan was also successful in scoring a half-century. He scored 51 runs on 43 balls.

Bumrah, Shami and Jadeja took two wickets each.
For India, Mohammed Siraj took three wickets, Ravindra Jadeja took two and Jasprit Bumrah took one wicket. Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav got one success each.
