IPL Auction: Hardly anyone will buy these Indian cap players in IPL 2024, players will depend on luck.

The IPL 2024 auction will take place on December 19 in Dubai. A total of 1166 players have registered for the auction. There are many Indian and international players in the team. In this small auction to be held in Dubai, huge money can be showered on some players. At the same time, some such Indian cricketers are also included in this list, whom hardly anyone will buy. There are two main reasons for this, one is their base price and second is their performance. Let’s take a look at these players.

List of Indian players with 18 caps

Of the players registered for the IPL 2024 mini-auction, 830 are Indians, of which 18 are capped players. There are also 336 international cricketers. The base price of Harshal Patel, Kedar Jadhav, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav is Rs 2 crore. Whereas the base price of Varun Aaron, KS Bharat, Siddharth Kaul, Dhawal Kulkarni, Shivam Mavi, Shahbaz Nadeem, Karun Nair, Manish Pandey, Chetan Sakaria, Mandeep Singh, Barinder Sran, Jaydev Unadkat, Hanuma Vihari and Sandeep Warrier is Rs 50 lakh. Let us tell you about three such players who will hardly find any buyers in the upcoming auction.

Kedar Jadhav

For Kedar Jadhav, if any franchise starts bidding, the starting price is Rs 2 crore. The former India cricketer has a lot of experience in the IPL but has failed to leave his mark. In such a situation, hardly any franchise would have joined him by paying Rs 2 crore. He has scored 1208 runs in 95 IPL matches.

Hanuma Vihari

Hanuma Vihari, who plays for Team India, has not been able to perform consistently well in the IPL. He played 16 test matches for India. He made his IPL debut in 2013. Since then, he has played only 24 matches. He played a total of 13 matches this season. After this he could play only 5 matches in 2015 and 2 matches in 2019. He has not played in IPL since 2019. In such a situation, they will hardly buy any franchise.

Varun Aaron

Fast bowler Varun Aaron, who has played Test and ODI for Team India, has not been able to impress anyone with his performance in the IPL. This player, who has played 18 international matches for India, has played more than 50 matches in the IPL, but has taken only 44 wickets. He was last seen in action in IPL 2022. He played only 2 matches this season. In such a situation, the chances of him being bought in the auction based on his performance are very less.
