Pakistan team could not make it to the semi-finals of the 2023 World Cup. They have won five matches and lost four. To qualify for the semi-finals, Pakistan needed to defeat England by a huge margin in their previous league match, but they could not do so. There is a lot of criticism after this poor performance of the team.

Pakistan lost to England in their final league match and with this their journey in the World Cup ended. This is the reason why the team is being criticized a lot.

There are no flaws in Pakistan’s system: Aamir

Mohammad Aamir blamed Pakistan captain Babar Azam for this defeat. He said this in an interview given to Zee News.

Five to six people have been given the responsibility of running Pakistan cricket. Captain is one of them. We won the World Cup in 1992 and this was the system. In 1999, our team was a world champion and we reached the finals. We won the 2009 T20 World Cup and 2017 Champions Trophy under this system. Babar Azam has been the captain for the last four years and he himself has made this team. Jos Buttler is not part of our system, then why did England play so badly? Is there a need to change the system in England also?
