Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has appointed Mo Bobat as its director of cricket ahead of IPL 2024. Bobat has been with the England Cricket Board (ECB) for 12 years and has been the Director of Performance since 2019. He has been instrumental in helping establish England’s revolutionary approach, which has helped them dominate the opposition and win T20 and ODI World Cup titles. He also performed well in the Ashes.

Bobot and RCB head coach Andy Flower have previously worked together in England and are now set to work together once again at RCB. The 40-year-old led the identification, development and preparation of a comprehensive pool of England players across all formats.

R. C.B. He will oversee new player induction and performance plans and aim to establish a cultural and high-performance foundation for continued success.
