Talking about Ravindra Jadeja, his performance in the match against Australia was quite impressive. He took 3 wickets for 28 runs. Jadeja took the important wicket of Steve Smith, who was slowly moving towards his half-century.

I was bowling from stump to stump… Ravindra Jadeja.

During the post-match press conference, Ravindra Jadeja explained what he planned while bowling. They said,

When I started bowling the first over, the ball was stopping a bit. I thought it was afternoon, it was hot and the wicket was dry. I thought the stump line would be better. From here some balls will curve and some balls will go straight. Therefore it will not be easy for the batsmen. My plan was to hit it stump on stump and luckily the ball went against Steve Smith. So my plan was very simple. I felt that I have to bowl here like in Test matches. I shouldn’t have experimented too much because everything was happening with the wicket. So I was trying to bowl from stump to stump.
Ravindra Jadeja has a good record against Steve Smith. He has dismissed Steve Smith more than 9 times in all formats. This shows how much he has troubled Smith.
