Recently Australia played a T20 series with New Zealand. Smith played two matches in this series and in both the matches Smith proved unsuccessful. Smith scored 11 runs in one match and only 4 runs in the other. After which now his place in the Australian team for the T20 World Cup 2024 is in danger.
