Rahul Dravid’s trio: India is currently hosting the 2023 ICC World Cup. Team India has performed brilliantly so far in this global cricket tournament and has won all its five matches. Now they will face England in Lucknow on 29th October. Rahul Dravid is currently the head coach of the Indian cricket team.

A video of Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathore has been shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on social media. Apart from Dravid, other members of the support staff are also part of the team. In this everyone is seen trekking in Triund. Interestingly, Rahul Dravid reached Triund early in the morning while trekking.

I hope the same for my children

Dravid says in the video, “Once you do the trek and climb up, it is a joy. You like it, it’s a beautiful sight. I came with the support staff, it was great. It is a bit risky for the players to come between the World Cup. I hope they come when they are not playing. Some places are so close to nature, so beautiful, I hope they stay that way. We can pass it on to the next generation. I hope the same for my children.

India’s performance

Team India has performed brilliantly in the World Cup so far. They won against Australia. Then after defeating Afghanistan, they defeated arch-rivals Pakistan in front of around 1.25 lakh spectators in Ahmedabad. They defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets and New Zealand by 3 wickets.
