Player of the month: Amidst the exciting World Cup, ICC has announced the Player of the Month awards for October. Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has given a big blow to Team India. The ICC had nominated three players for this award, including fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and South African opener Quinton de Kock. Now ICC has announced the best player of the month, this special award has not been given to both Jasprit Bumrah and De Kock, this award has been given to the New Zealand player. This is a big blow for the fast bowler.

New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra received a special gift from the ICC. Rachin is in great form in this World Cup. He is currently the leading run-scorer in the World Cup. Apart from taking wickets in bowling, he has scored a total of 565 runs in 9 World Cup matches. Quinton de Kock is at second place in this list. He has scored 550 runs in 8 matches. Apart from this, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has taken 15 wickets in 8 matches.

Playing the World Cup in India has been incredibly special. He said, I got a lot of support from my team. There has never been any pressure on me to play, so I am giving my best. It’s lucky for me that the wickets are really good to bat on, it suits my game in terms of being positive and taking the game forward.
